"NO!" I yelped, sitting up suddenly in my bed. My blankets were on the floor, my skin was beaded with sweat, and my breathing was as rapid as my heartbeat.
"What is it? Whats the matter?"
My bedroom light suddenly flicked on, revealing my father standing in the doorway, a startled look on his face.
"I-Its nothing... Just a nightmare." I sighed, squinting in the bright light. Dad just nodded and walked over to me, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"You know, your mom and Liu have been getting nighmares too... Im worried about it."
I nodded sleepily. "Yeah..." They were always waking up in the middle of the night screaming.
"What happened in your nightmare?" He asked gently. I shivered.
"It was scary... someone was... No, something was calling me to come to them, over and over again. But it wasn't anyone I knew. The voice was the freakiest part... it sounded so unearthly. I couldn't see anything but I could feel that so

Though the satchel wasn’t large, it had carried enough food to last Shichi for several days. He started slowly, eating only a few handfuls throughout the day, allowing his stomach to grow accustomed to digestion. His mind began to clear. He noted the positions of the sun and stars, making his way back towards the river. Only the mountains were cold enough for snow, and the brown earth began to reveal itself as he descended. With the soil came roots, and soon he had foraged a small stock to refill the bag.

She was so freaking adorable… I couldn’t help but stroke her trembling back with my thumb. It felt so strange yet so amazing to feel something so small against my fingertips…

Zeke raised his golden eyebrows in surprise. “What?”

I folded my arms across my chest, and let out a patient sigh. “How much? For the girl?”

Zeke let out a large puff of smoke out of his cruel lips, and grinned wickedly. I could see the three of his golden molders, shining back at me- mocking my pained expression.

“You want her that much eh?” he chuckled- it was a terrible sound.

I nodded impatiently and placed my clammy hands onto his wooden desk. “How long has she been unconscious?” I ask suddenly.

Chapter 9- The First Day
“Wake up, sleepy head,” a deep voice whispered, gently nudging Abbie. She lifted her head and yawned. It was still dark outside. She rolled over to look at Andy.
“What are you doing up? It’s too early,” she said, her voice thick with sleep.
“Warped Tour,” he smiled. That was all she needed. She shot up in bed and stretched.
“You got pancakes already?” she asked as she ran her hands through her messy hair and got out of bed.

Osidian bit his lip and gazed down at the tiny being in the cage. She shook violently with sobs, making Osidian feel incredibly uncomfortable. He was never good with children- especially crying children.

He looked at the messenger who was smiling uncontrollably, then he switched his gaze upon the two guards. They were watching the cage with uneasy glances, their hands tightening around their spears.

Osidian looked down at the little woman and sighed heavily. “I don’t want anyone else knowing about this,” he said in a low voice. “Has anyone else seen it?”

Roly-Poly Princess, Chapter 2“Oh my God, is that Gretchen?”
Fiona watched a plump girl crawl out of a car and wave goodbye to her mom. She had a yellow backpack with a pink butterfly sticker on the back.
“It is!” She ran to Gretchen. “Where have you been? It’s been weeks since you were last in school.”
“Oh, Fiona! I had such a terrible flu. Mom told me I couldn’t even think about coming back until I was healthy.”
“Oh.” Fiona got a good look at Gretchen’s pot-belly, sticking out beneath her tight t-shirt. Her jeans stretched around her meaty thighs and hips. “You certainly look…healthy.”
A fading shadowAs she stood there, staring up at that old wooden door, Rainbow hesitated. For those who knew her, hesitation was something that was very much against how she usually was. But on this day, she made an exception. This particular tower of the Canterlot royal palace was not as attractive on the inside as the rest of the building, owing largely to it's purpose of holding criminals. The walls were darker, colder than the other rooms, and the whole place was just largely unpleasant. She focused on this because it didn't seem right for her to be here.

But Rainbow knew that she would have to address this. If she didn't, she'd regret it for the rest

Chapter 10- Bryan Stars
“Hi guys!” a tall man in a blue t-shirt with short, curly blond hair greeted them as the trio walked into the room. He looked from Abbie to Andy with a questioning tint to his eyes, but Andy quickly distracted him.
“Hi Bryan,” Andy greeted, sitting on a green couch next to him.
“Hello there Bryan Starzzzz!” Ashley exclaimed, sitting next to Bryan on the other side, sandwiching Bryan and leaving Abbie seatless. She looked from Andy to Ashley, then settled on Andy’s lap. Abbie stared at a man with curly, brown hair that fell to just about his shoulders and wore purple bunny ears

"By your legs. In the corner."

Alfred blinked and glanced down. "What the hell?!"

"I-I may have fallen asleep there..." Arthur mumbled.

"Why- how?!"

Arthur shifted slightly. "Well, I couldn't fall asleep for a while..."

"...And?!"

"And nothing. I was looking out the window for a while and fell asleep there. Nothing happened."

A tyrant's last breathThe pain was great, but she ignored it. All that mattered to her now was that her own son stood above her, ready to end her life without the slightest hesitation. His horn glowed a bright red and his eyes bore a look of great anger. Sombra had won. After all of her hopes, her plans, her belief that things would turn out, all she had done was delayed the inevitable. Imprisoning him a thousand years ago hadn't stopped him, nor had his defeat at the Crystal Empire when he was free. She had failed to stop him completely, and now she was about to pay the price.

Jack Frost FF ~ Chap. 4"You're…Jack Frost, Old Man Winter?" I ask, looking warily at his lean and young body.

"Oh, believe me," he says brightly. "I'm much older than I look."

I nod my head slowly and carefully. "I don't know…if I can believe that."

He freezes and watches me with realization. "Oh! I almost forgot," he cries, grabbing his face. "You need proof!"

I bolt upright in my bed and look around my room. When I fell asleep, I was downstairs.

My sock lay neatly on the floor next to my bed. The covers are tucked in around me in a way that I couldn't have done myself.

I must just have been really tired that I don't remember, I assure silently to myself. No one was ever here.

       In curiosity I step closer, cocking my head slightly in wonder.
       A border lies on the window of leaves that much resembled holly, accenting the frosted roses that lay at random. The people in the picture are merry, playing outside and making snowmen. I'm sitting on the cement step of the back door lazily, leaning my elbow onto my knee and watching the snow come down in large wet clumps. Cars struggle to pass by down the road, going barely half the speed that the limit states. My feet are frozen, having not worn shoes out into the frozen world.

I hate it.

A snow day? Not that I would rather be at school, but I detested this.

With a sigh, I stand and turn to walk inside when someone laughs.

In confusion, I turn back around and peer through the glittering world. No one is there, of course.

Of course…

The house is warm, setting my frozen skin on fire as I pad around the living room.

Jack Frost FF ~ Chap. 10

"We've got trouble at Tooth's, mate," Bunny informs, crossing his arms.

North funnels us all into a hall. "Into sleigh," he commands loudly.

Jack sighs and I hand him his staff back. "There is no way I'm climbing into some rickety old–" He stops in awe as the yettis pull out the sleigh, not at all what I expected, reindeer stamping and snorting. "Sleigh."

Bunny looks nervously at the newly shined sleigh, touching its smooth edge lightly. "I think my tunnels might be faster, mate…and safer," he states carefully, jumping away when the sleigh creaks.

"No, Bunny." North throws him in the sleigh and lifts me up gently. "Buckle up!"

"Wait!" Bunny fumbles around the bench for a seatbelt. "Where are the bunny seatbelts?" he cries worriedly.

North laughs shortly. "Ha! That was just expression." He cracks the whip and we are off, curving through the ice tunnels like some crazy roller coaster.

Jack laughs, kneeling on the bench above me, and Bunny grips the wood tightly.

We burst into the light and fly through the air. North throws a snow globe ahead of us.

"Tooth's Palace!" he yells and the portal opens.

It's instant chaos as we find ourselves on the outer side of a rock island. Black objects start flying at us, passing us at fast speeds.

"What?" North whispers in confusion.

One of the black objects whinnies and I spin around to watch it.

"They're horses," I realize, widening my eyes. "Black horses."

"They're taking the tooth fairies!" Jack cries.

I look more closely and see the horses, eating up the small birds. Jack jumps off the sleigh and I follow not far after him.

"Come on!" Jack cries, allowing me to fly. "We need to save them!"

I grab a handful of the tooth fairies and clutch them in my hands. "You okay?"

They nod their heads and I smile, turning to see a black horse barreling towards me. My eyes widen in fear, unable to fly away fast enough. It slams into me and disappears into black sand that cascades down upon me. I fall down towards the rocks, too weak to fly away.

"Katherine!" Jack screams, the last thing I hear before the blackness consumes me.
